But for all his accomplishments as an entertainer perhaps his greatest legacy was his enormous generosity. This new DVD, Elvis...A Generous Heart examines his wonderful legacy of generosity. Some examples: The legendary Aloha from Hawaii concert in 1973 raised more than $75,000 for cancer research. In 1964 Elvis purchased the FDR presidential yacht and donated it to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, who in turn raised $55,000 for research upon it's sale. Elvis Presley was the single largest private contributor to the Pearl Harbor Memorial site in Hawaii. In 1975 he gave a concert in Jackson, Mississippi to raise funds for the victims of a tornado in his native state. As a child Elvis had witnessed the devastation of a tornado. Perhaps there has never been a bigger star then Elvis Presley. From touring, recording, films and TV, "the King" did it all, achieving a level of success that other entertainers can only imagine. But before all the gold records and millions of adoring fans, there was only a poor boy with a dream growing up in 1950's America. Now, through this one-of-kind DVD collection, Elvis' early years come full circle through these two rare programs.

Tupelo Homecoming
Narrated by Kris Kristofferson, this remarkable documentary traces the life of Elvis from his birth in Tupelo, MS during the Great Depression to his triumphant return as the newly recognized "King of Rock'n'Roll"! In between, you'll witness the timeless story of a true American icon who not only shook up the music world, but also brought people together and helped pave the way for a more tolerant America.

Summer of '56
Travel back to a pivotal chapter in the epic life of Elvis Presley. His first nationwide hit, "Heartbreak
Hotel" is number one on the charts, but most Americans have yet to hear of the young sensation
from Memphis, TN. Though unprededented fame is just around the corner, Elvis spends this last summer
of relative privacy with his small-town girlfriend doing all the normal things young lovers do. Amazing home movies capture that special time of picnics, fishing, dates and just "hanging out" with friends and family.

Beginning with their first performances in tiny Liverpool and Hamburg nightclubs, this documentary follows the incredible rise of The Beatles to a worldwide phenomenon. You can feel the excitement and witness the hysteria surrounding their first trip to the United States for an appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show. A performance that first exposed the four mop-tops to a North American audience. There are many behind the scenes insights into the group, giving us a glimpse into John, Paul, George and Ringo rarely seen. This DVD documents the energy of the '60s, the idealism of the '70s and for some the disillusionment of the '80s. It's a stirring tribute to four boys from Liverpool who conquered the world and changed the direction of popular music forever
